Intelligent solutions for recycling plastics using hydrogen-based selective hydrogenation

Together, we are establishing a cooperation network comprising industry and research partners and developing and marketing:

  • Analysis methods for characterising input materials with varying property spectra and the regranulates produced in comparison with virgin material
  • The core chemical technology and corresponding catalysts for controlled hydrogen-based selective hydrogenation
  • Innovative extrusion technologies and plant engineering as well as peripheral components for the process-reliable and reproducible processing of (partially) crosslinked plastics
  • Process-integrated sensor technology to ensure that the properties of the regranulates are independent of the input batch
